Gary Hasenhindl has been with YCI since inception in 1998 with his last role as the Program Coordinator prior to the change in ownership. During his tenure with Youth Connections Inc, he assumed various roles at different levels within the organization. Prior to coming to YCI, Gary worked in the CYW field since 1989.

In addition to his role at YCI, he was part of the Durham College Program Advisory Committee for the Advanced Law Enforcement & Investigations program within the School of Justice & Emergency Services, as a Board Member for 12 years.

As a compassionate individual with a positive & empathetic approach, Gary enjoys working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Gary is sensitive to a client's identity including cultural & spiritual needs and believes this to be a priority when planning for care. Directly getting to know the clients and building trusting relationships with them has always been his focus.
